During the COVID-19 Lockdown in South Africa, Marguerite challenged herself to make a crochet square every day during the "supposedly" 21 Day Lockdown. She thought that with the 20 odd squares, she could make a blanket (or two) whilst keeping her hands busy and her mind off the madness the world was facing. Lockdown turned out to go on for a BIT longer than three weeks and she made and donated over 100 beautiful hand crocheted blankets to for Nelson Mandela Day (South Africa), a Non- Profit organisation that encourages people across the world to knit or crochet blankets to keep needy people warm, in honour of Nelson Mandela.
Although all these blankets have been donated, similar products can be commissioned.
